What We Are Looking For:
- We are looking for a graduate who is motivated and has a passion for Restructuring & Insolvency to join our Corporate Dispute Resolution Group in our Brisbane Office. We are looking for an individual with fast learning agility, who is self-motivated, goal orientated, adaptable and client focused. We value candidates who are successful academically with regular involvement in extra-curricular and community activities. - Assisting with providing clients with legal advice
- Regularly reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes
- Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
- Managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
- Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy
- A recent law graduate
- Strong academics to support your application (above credit average)
- Extensive research skills developed through paralegal experience highly desirable
- Judge's Associate experience highly desirable
- Experience in mooting competitions highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions well
- Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
- A strong focus on turnaround time and ability to work under pressure
