Job Summary
ORTC is searching for a dynamic and customer-centric sales assistant to work alongside our store manager at our Norwood location. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the store's operations, sales and ensuring exceptional customer experiences at all times.
Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Provide unparalleled customer service, ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless shopping experience.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and product-related questions promptly and professionally.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve issues in a courteous manner to uphold customer satisfaction.
Operational Support
- Assist in store operations, including inventory management, restocking, and visual merchandising to optimise sales and presentation.
- Maintain records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Collaborate with various departments to support timely and effective resolution of store-related issues.
Team Collaboration
- Support the team, contributing to a positive work environment, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Assist in training new employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service protocols.
- Help coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and optimise productivity.
- Collaborate with management and the head office team to ensure a seamless in-store and online customer experience.
Promotions and Growth
- Assist with the execution of promotional strategies and events aimed at enhancing customer engagement and loyalty.
- Support marketing strategies at the store level to drive sales and elevate the brand's presence within the community.
Requirements
Experience
- 1+ years of retail sales experience preferred.
- Proven track record in customer service and sales.
Skills
- Exceptional customer service and retail sales skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Shopify, inventory management systems, and retail software.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Basic skills in visual merchandising.
