Retail Banking Customer Service (Branch)

The opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a Customer Service professional to join the team at our Sutherland branch. This role is well suited to applicants with experience in Retail Banking Customer Service, transactional banking and personal and/or residential mortgage lending.

Key responsibilities:

• identifying products and services best suited to member needs;
• opening accounts and performing account administration tasks;
• assisting members with general enquiries, transactions and loan enquiries;
• evaluating, assessing and processing loan applications in accordance with policy and service delivery standards;
• guiding members through the use of internet banking, mobile and online applications; and 
• acting as the primary contact and liaison between members and specialised teams.

What we are looking for

• experience in personal loan and residential mortgage lending;
• experience in a Customer Service role in a Retail Banking branch environment;
• the fundamentals required to deliver an exceptional Customer Service experience; 
• the ability to build relationships and identify products and services best suited to member needs; 
• highly developed communication and problem solving skills;
• the ability to work unsupervised and cooperatively as part of a team; 
• ASIC Tier II accreditation; and 
• a sound understanding of compliance obligations associated with this role.

Experience using Ultracs banking software is desirable, but not essential.
