We are looking for a Retail Business Manager to join our Retail Operations team. This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities to drive growth, volume and margin targets in retail operations, maximising overall productivity, and managing business issues, building customer relationships and ensuring compliance with the relevant and operating standards. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will need to drive growth, sales performance, and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
- Maintains store staffs by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Ensuring store staffs to comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
- Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
- Determine the correct product purchasing mix, maintain the goods stock level of inventory management
- Ensures availability of merchandise and services to plan and execute promotional activities
- Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotion, and authorizing clearance sales.
- Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
- Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and store sales records.
QUALIFICATIONS/ WORK EXPERIENCE: Have at least a relevant AQF level Diploma Minimum 3 years work experience as a Retail Manager is essential Experience within a fast-paced retail shops and experience in 24/7 convenience shop is advantageous. SKILLS Must be willing to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays Exception organisational and leadership skills.

Excellent inter-personal / oral communication and customer service skills Ability to lead and motivate Excellent organizational and management skills Ability to handle challenging situations and problem solve Location of work Southern Cross WA 6426 The accommodation can be arranged for the successful candidate Work Type Full Time Salary Range Depending on the skills and experience, the salary range for this position is between $70,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation per annum.
