You will be responsible for project, vacancy and maintenance leasing of a portfolio of retail properties in metropolitan and regional South Australia and to identify and win new business.Snapshot of the role:
- Building relationships with Retailers (local and national) and Owners to develop the SA Retail Leasing business
- Maintain a high level of regular communication with Owners, Centre Management and major chain retailers.
- Contacting and responding to tenants who make an enquiry by submitting details in writing/meeting them and arranging physical inspections of the appropriate properties
- Maintaining accurate records of correspondence, lease information, file notes on all meetings with retailers and any other relevant information that should be maintained to provide proper audit trail
- Being cognizant of current market rentals, retail rate and current trends within the industry
- Ensuring invoices of all leasing commission are raised promptly at the conclusion of agreed services and follow up with any debtors

You’ll have the ability to work independently, multi-task and be very well organized as a high level of initiative is required on a day-to-day basis.Strong negotiation and communication skills both in developing relationships and resolving disputes or problems as they arise is essential. Previous experience in the property sector and/or corporate environment is highly desirable but not essential.You will need to hold as a minimum a Certificate of Registration as Real Estate and Business Sales Representative valid within the state of South Australia.
