Our client Sai Om Pty Ltd operates an Oporto store in Kelso NSW and is looking for highly motivated full time Retail Manager who has a passion for retail, a love of customers and a drive to deliver results to join the team in business.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of store, including the rostering, training, and coaching of team members, delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, creating business strategies to attract new customers, preparing detailed sales reports and monitoring inventory levels on new stock.
The managerial and administrative aspect of your role will encompass determining service standards, maintaining records of stock, financial transactions and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, strong leadership and customer management abilities, and most importantly - have a great attitude.
Minimum Requirements:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field
3+ years' experience in a similar role
In this role your main responsibilities include:
- Food safety supervision
- Create and deliver daily plans and strategies to ensure store & individual budgets/targets are achieved
- Maintain excellent store standards, including cleanliness and functionality of store machines/equipment and merchandising
- Daily management of stock to minimise out of stocks, stock loss and maximise sales
- Independently deal with all store and products related enquiries
- Manage, support and develop team to drive performance
- Manage and prepare budget reports, rosters, stock take and ordering
- Deal with queries, complaints and feedback from customers
- Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales
- Maintain awareness of market trends and monitor competitors
- Maintain records of financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Ensure a safe working environment - following all policies and procedures
- Initiating service changes to improve the business
- Conduct people safety and product safety audits
