Primary Location VIC - DandenongJob Description Summary We’re excited to have been selected as Preferred Tenderer for the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (Metro) – South Central Region!About the RoleWe’re excited to have been selected as Preferred Tenderer for the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (Metro) – South Central Region!Starting in July this year, we’ll be working across Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs and right down the Mornington Peninsula, delivering routine maintenance, emergency response and defect rectification works, as well as network refurbishment and upgrade projects, under a major long-term contract with the Victorian Government.Our mission is to deliver safer and more reliable journeys for Victorian road users, keep communities better connected, and create a more sustainable road network. - Submitting payment claims to TfV for completed works and invoicing when claim is approved
- Monitoring outstanding invoices, liaising with TfV representatives to ensure payment is received in line with Contract terms
- Reviewing payment claims submitted by delivery partners (subcontractors) and processing for payment in line with agreed payment terms
- Raising purchase orders for goods and services
- Liaising with TfV and delivery partner representatives to resolve AP / AR issues
- Maintaining finance systems, procedures and processes and supporting the Business & Performance Manager with financial analysis and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise-grade financial management systems (familiarity with JobPac highly regarded)
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes underpinned by an analytical mindset
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with a track record of working collaboratively with customers and delivery partners to resolve issues
- Strong time management skills and an exceptional eye for detail when processing high volumes of data
