The role also includes resource development and educational administration.The incumbent is a key and active participant of the Allied Health business area and works to promote educational excellence, business growth and student-centred services for the Allied Health team.Your key responsibilities include-
  • Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners
  • Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements
  • Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
  • Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources
  • Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught
  • Assist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs
  • Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment
ABOUT YOUYou are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools, in addition to a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching and learningYou will have relevant tertiary qualification in-
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or qualifications
  • Vocational qualifications at a minimum of AQF level 3 such as: Certiifcate III, IV or Diploma
  • Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience from a First Aid, Aquatic, Recreation background
  • A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
  • A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
