Job description:YOUR DECJUBA JOURNEY STARTS HERE…We are seeking an AMAZING Retail Operations Manager to play a critical leadership role within our Retail Support team. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day commercial and operational performance of retail stores, focusing on optimising Retail Operations, key strategies to maximise sales and profit, and driving a customer-centric culture to ensure an AMAZING customer experience. Reporting to the Chief Retail Officer, you will lead a team of three to deliver key activities, events and initiatives across retail stores in Australia and New Zealand. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the day-to-day commercial & operational performance of the retail stores. Prepare regular business review presentations and market information to top management, with key strategies to maximise sales and profit. Continue to focus on and optimize Retail Operations by maximising current strategies and implementing new ones. Manage overall reporting for the retail business. Review, understand & summarise Regional & Store KPI performance to share with internal stakeholders and implement strategies to improve performance. Coordinate and implement Retail Operations calendar of events including but not limited to store events, reporting deadlines, performance appraisals, in-store training etc. Anything that is relevant to retail. Ensure training and development programs are implemented and monitored for success by collaborating with L&D Responsible for managing and approving internal communications relevant to retail and teams. Responsible for stores consumable/stationary inventory management and expenses control. Drive a customer centric culture within stores. Optimise the service provided by the retail team, to ensure an excellent customer experience. Obtain & summarise feedback from store teams regarding product offering, buying patterns and commercial trends to assist in optimising store sales. ABOUT YOU Possess an exceptional understanding of Retail Operations. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, with a proven track record delivering successful initiatives that drive growth and performance in a retail environment. Demonstrate a commercially focused and process-driven mindset, identifying opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and approach challenges with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset. Exhibit effective communication skills and a collaborative style. Build robust relationships, confidently manage stakeholders, and effectively liaise across all functions and levels of the business. Have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage and motivate a team. Be analytical with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Have an inquisitive mindset with the ability to question the status quo and identify growth opportunities. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
