Job description:
Reporting to the IBA National Category Manager - The IBA Key Retail Planner will be tasked with providing analysis, insights and execution plans to deliver an effective Key Retail Program across specific liquor categories. The IBA Key retail program prioritises the products which we will support and advertise, in order to drive category growth, brand alignment and facilitate retailer execution.
What you'll do
- Category management analysis to identify the trends and growth drivers in specific liquor categories.
- Range assortment analysis to identify which products are leading their categories and which are under performing
- Liaise with suppliers to discuss key category insights and develop a clear view of new product launch plans
- Work with IBA category team & IBA state business managers on delivering tailored key retail programs for IBA brands.
- Produce in-store category space management layouts and range review guides.
- Implementation of category strategies via space and range management.
What you'll be
- Ability to extract data from various internal and external sources to analyse, interpret, generate insights and make recommendations.
- Ability to distil data and reports into clear & concise presentations to facilitate discussions, answer queries and enable effective decision making
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration. Ability to network within the business and suppliers to gather required information and communicate effectively and responsively.
- Previous liquor or FMCG retail experience (ideally 3 years)
- Supplier or retailer category management experience.
