We are currently accepting applications for a Retail Sales Assistant, based in our Erina Store on a part-time basis (12-month fixed term contract), working across Monday to Friday. As a Sales Assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service to all our customers to maximise their experience. You will be a team player, providing support in maintaining the upkeep of the store and replenishment of our stock.
THE ROLE
The key focus areas of the role include:
- Greeting customers and providing exceptional service
- Demonstrating sales techniques to support our customers in making an informed purchasing decision
- Daily stock and merchandising duties
- Dealing with all aspects of till operation
- Update and develop the Store databases
- Answering telephone, sales queries, placement of orders for direct delivery, quotations
- Receiving, checking off and merchandising deliveries of replenishment stock
- Other general retail responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Customer facing role experience (retail or other)
- Catering equipment/technical product knowledge (desirable)
- Experience working with POS systems and/or warehouse/inventory systems
- Driven and possesses willingness to learn new tasks
- Enjoys building rapport with customers and team members alike.
