Retail Shop Assistant

Our client has partnered with Chandler Macleod to assist them in sourcing reliable and motivated staff to join the team at their Laverton North facility. This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door with an industry leader and earn some great money along the way. Suitable candidates must have retail and management experience to potentialy be moved into a higher position as Shop Supervisor.
Wokring hours: Monday - Friday (must be available to work weekends)
Type: Ongoing role with potential for permanent position
Salary: Starting from $31.67 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with customers and team members
- Proven ability to manage and oversee day-to-day shop operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a tidy and organized shop floor
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Proven experience in a retail management role
- Availability for Monday - Friday work with occasional weekends
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment
- Successful completion of a physical check
- Must have food industry experience
