The Dunn Group is an Australian family-owned business, operating in NSW for over 30 years, with 8 busy convenience petroleum retail sites across Sydney metro, the Blue Mountains, and Wagga Wagga. "Balmain Coffee Company" is an extension of our business along with our "Supply - Your Local Food Store" offer which is an amazing range of made in store products.
About the role
An opportunity to lead in a fun and dynamic environment as Store Manager at bp Katoomba. You will be involved in every aspect of a fast-paced retail environment as you share responsibility and accountability for your store. You will be the first point of contact and will be expected to lead, drive, develop and inspire your team to achieve overall success.
About you
We are currently seeking an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- A customer focused mentality with a desire to deliver great service every time
- Attention to detail and high level of persistence
- Work well under pressure, leading by example
- Commit to leadership excellence bringing your “A” game to every shift
- Good computer skills in web-based platforms including HR, Rosters, and Training
- Good communicator both verbal and written
- Able to coach and develop both existing and new team members
- Keen to learn and develop new skills
Previous management experience in a similar Retail Convenience Café business or Quick Service Restaurant / Fast Food is essential.
A willingness to learn new skills and adhere to company procedure is KEY as you will be part of a larger group.
This is a Monday to Friday position but as we are a 24/7 business you must be available to work on some weekends (will be on call some weekends) and public holidays including Christmas and Easter to meet the business needs.

Salary range is offered from $70,000 to $75,000 plus Superannuation based on current experience and skill sets. There is also opportunity to progress and relocate within the company as we have multiple sites in NSW.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Retail
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven Cash Handling Skills
- Independent worker and a team player
- Working well with others, using excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good computer skills including excel, word and various web based platforms
- Results driven, motivated, positive, can-do attitude.
- Good decision-making and commercial savvy
- Strong computer and online skills.
