Great Opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager
Who are we?
Carac is an iconic and well established retailer of Caravan and Trailer Parts and Accessories, as well as Camping Gear, Marine and 4WD Accessories. We have been based in Dandenong and owned by the same family since our inception in 1967. We also have an award winning workshop and major online store.
We are currently looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to help us continue our current strong growth. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a strong background in retail performance and management experience.
Is this role for you?
You have a demonstrated history in managing a Retail Store, you bring a natural ability to influence, coach and mentor teams. You can confidently manage a team to deliver targets and drive operational excellence. You recognise and support the importance of integrity and honesty in everything you and your team does. You also understand that exceptional customer service underpins everything we do at Carac. You are not afraid to have courageous conversations and can navigate challenging situations. You can support and mentor team members to achieve their ambitions and dreams whilst delivering the KPI's and targets of the business.
You will need to have a love of and experience with caravanning and the outdoors, and are willing to work within strict rostered guidelines, which include weekends. You have exceptional written and verbal skills allowing you to communicate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders and customers. You are experienced and able to manage high performance teams, you recoginse that excellent customer service is the foundation of all aspects and functions of a retail business.
Your new role
Working in the Dandenong South store, this dynamic position is a leading role in our highly regarded customer service team and involves providing and managing others to provide unparalleled advice and support to new and existing customers - in store, over the phone, and via email. Our store Management Team are constantly looking for new opportunities and even better ways of providing customer service. You will foster and inspire a high performing team culture that delivers a customer service experience that our customers will remember for all the right reasons.
We are an active member of Caravan Industry Victoria and have a fully equipped Service Safe Accredited workshop.
