Better Choice Margaret River is a busy service station located in the South West tourist town of Margaret River. It caters to travelers and locals alike. We take pride in providing exceptional customer service, delicious food and a facility to wash both cars and dogs. All in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
We are currently seeking a motivated, proactive, and customer-focused Retail Supervisor to support our daily operations and provide a memorable experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services
- Respond to customer enquires and complaints about goods and services
- Plan and prepare work schedules and assign staff to specific duties
- Manage staffing for the site, including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluation, dismissing and promoting of staff, along with resolving staff grievances
- Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales procedures
- Stock control, including inventory, ordering, pricing and display
- Ensure safety and security procedures are followed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality or retail management, preferably in a service station, or similar environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Point of Sale systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
