In this position you will play a crucial role in facilitating the return-to-work process for employees and implementing Injury Management programs to promote employee well-being and prevent workplace injuries.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Coordinate the return-to-work process for employees on medical leave, including communicating with healthcare providers and developing return-to-work plans.
Collaborate with People +Performance, managers, and employees to identify workplace accommodations and modifications to support returning employees.
Ensure compliance in reporting and actions for workplace injuries according to governing bodies and insurers.
Manage the injury reporting and investigation process, including documenting incidents and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and implement Injury Management programs to prevent workplace injuries and promote a safe working environment.
Provide training on injury prevention, return-to-work procedures, and workplace safety best practices.
Maintain accurate records of injury reports and related documentation.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Injury Management and return-to-work programs.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to Injury Management and workplace safety.
Coordinate with the Payroll department for reimbursements and accurate processing.
Manage the Employee Assistance Program and ensure accessibility.
