Return To Work Coordinator

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Return to Work Coordinator to join the family owned Joss Group who is a Self-Insurer under the NSW Workers Compensation Act. 

Based in Albion Park this position services the Whole of Government Facilities Management Services Cleaning Contract and the successful applicant will be responsible for recognising and working towards an effective injury management model in conjunction with the Joss Injury Management Department.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Actively developing and promoting Injury Management and Return to Work processes across the Group;
• Assist in the management of all work and non-work related injuries;
• Assist in the identification of suitable or pre-injury employment;
• Monitor the progress of an injured employee’s recovery and potential to RTW;
• Monitor the injured employee’s performance and compliance against the current RTWP to ensure appropriateness and make adjustments as necessary within the confines of the current medical restrictions; 
• Establish and maintain Rehabilitation Case Files; 
• Assisting in the training and education of managers in all aspects of Injury Management and Return to Work policies and procedures; 
• Ensuring compliance with Legislation and the Self Insurance requirements.

The ideal candidate will:

• Preferably have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in managing claims under the NSW Legislation;
• Accredited NSW RTW Training;
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Have relationship building skills; 
• Be outcome and target focused; 
• Be prepared to travel around the surrounding area;
• Have good time management skills.

Experience in a Self-Insured environment is preferred, however not essential. 

Remuneration package by negotiation based on above criteria. A motor vehicle & mobile phone will be provided to the successful applicant.
