ABOUT THE POSITION:
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our revenue team. The successful applicant will be working for a high performing revenue team within the Private Division of St Vincent's Hospitals.
This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week and you will be pivotal to the Private Division producing high quality, accurate and timely claims to health funds in accordance with the relevant contracted business rules.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with other Revenue Officers to continue our team goals and ensure our KPIs are met.

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring health fund claims are completed in accordance with fund contract business rules.
Your skills will include:
Previous experience in a Billing or Accounts Receivable role with a private healthcare setting
Demonstrated experience interpreting Health Fund contracts with respect to the application of billing rules
Working knowledge of policies, procedures and legislative requirements
Experience using WebPas and D365 will be highly regarded
Experienced in using Patient Administration Systems in a healthcare organisation
High level of self-motivation, drive and initiative combined with the ability to adapt to changes in circumstances
Have a working knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
High attention to detail
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritising work
Intermediate skill level in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
A high level of effectiveness in a team-based environment and an ability to work autonomously
Previous experience and confidence in debt collection
Previous Health Fund or Hospital experience
High level written and oral communication skills
High level computer skills

REMUNERATION:
The position of Revenue Officer, in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of: $33.29 - $33.77 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
