There's an exciting opportunity for you to join the Finance Branch in the Department of Health as a Revenue Officer, Reporting! You will support the optimisation of revenue by interrogating data and systems to identify and mitigate revenue leakage.
The Revenue Officer, Reporting will review and analyse existing business processes and practices and identify and develop opportunities to optimise revenue recognition. You will also contribute to the revenue analytics strategy and deliver financial and non-financial performance reporting to stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
- High level knowledge of billing processes, legislative frameworks, finance related policies, procedures and practices and funding within a recognised hospital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise financial and pathology systems and Microsoft package applications in the extraction and preparation of data for analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and team members, effectively utilising communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated considered and ethical decision making when problem solving and addressing complex queries through the analysis of data.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training materials and drive improvement initiatives.
