Position Information:

We are seeking a Revenue and Receivable Officer to join our Accounts team at our Head Office, which is located in the heart of Sydney CBD. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for resident data management, including entry, transfer, and departure information in the system.
  • Process billing, direct debits, and reconcile refunds (MTCF, DAC, RAD, Loan, etc.) according to RFBI policies.
  • Follow up on outstanding debtors, liaise with Villages, and escalate bad debts as per RFBI's policies.
  • Update residents' management system (Epicor) and reconcile information provided by the Department.
  • Conduct reconciliations, end-of-month reporting, and review individual resident funding received for Government funding.
  • Assist Village/Service staff, consumers, and relatives with account inquiries, providing statements, invoices, and addressing system errors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and RFBI policies and procedures.
  • Actively engage with the Revenue and Receivable Team to maintain a positive working culture and lead continuous improvement efforts in processes and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant experience in revenue and receivable functions (aged care experience is desirable).
  • Experience in Epicor software (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
