In this role, you'll be at the heart of providing personalised care and support to our 24/7 Care Clients with complex needs. Your contribution will make a significant difference in their lives!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personalised Care and Support: Offer top-notch personal care and support tailored to the unique needs of our client with complex requirements. This includes assisting with daily activities like personal care and household tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Empower Mobility: Help our client maintain independence by assisting with mobility needs. Your support will enable them to move freely and confidently.
- Careful Monitoring and Reporting: Keep a keen eye on our client's health by monitoring vital signs, observing changes in their condition, and documenting relevant information. If any concerns arise, you'll promptly report them to the appropriate healthcare professionals or caregivers.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Your communication skills will ensure seamless coordination and the ongoing success of our client's care.
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a high-care or complex care setting.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support (or equivalent qualification). HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
- Registered Nurse with overseas background is encouraged to apply.
- Understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to promoting the rights and autonomy of individuals.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Current First Aid certificate (mandatory)
- Current Police Check (mandatory)
- NDIS Worker screening check (mandatory)
- Working with Children Check
- Australian Work Rights
