As an RF (Radio Frequency) Technical Analyst/Planner, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and optimization of wireless communication networks. Core duties typically include:
- Frequency Management: Allocating and managing radio frequencies to avoid interference and maximize spectrum efficiency
- Developing network plans that ensure optimal coverage and capacity
- Conducting field surveys and signal testing to analyse and verify network performance
- Identifying sources of interference and implementing strategies to minimize or eliminate their impact on network performance
- Use sophisticated software tools to simulate and predict the behaviour of RF signals across different environments.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for network issues
- Prepare reports and documentation related to network design, performance analysis, and regulatory compliance.
These tasks require a strong understanding of RF principles, wireless communication technology, and regulatory standards, combined with analytical skills and practical problem-solving abilities.
