We are seeking an experienced Technical Cloud Specialist who will report to report into the Service Delivery Manager and work closely to support customers in achieving their infrastructure Grow and Transform needs, including but not limited to cloud, network and telephony technology.
This role will be fundamental in uplifting the design and implementation of cloud, network and telephony systems, build and embed robust Disaster, Recovery and Incident Response processes, uplift MSP compliance with contractual obligations including system monitoring, alerting, operational procedures and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
It is important to note that this role will not undertake RUN or BAU work unless critically escalated, this function continues to be played by our MSP.
Contract Goals for this role are:
- Actively drive incident and problem resolution and system restoration
- Well-developed communication skills, including proven liaison and negotiation skills to support relationships, develop linkages and leverage opportunities with internal and external stakeholders – in particular the IT Service Desk
- Implementation of controls in IBA Azure cloud environment to support the Cyber Security strategy.
- Develop and enhance automated processes to release new solutions into the live environment in a timely, repeatable fashion.
- Standard Operating Environment build, test and management (SOE)
- Be engaged as a technical resource for ICT Operations on ICT related projects.
- Implementations of controls to support data loss prevention utilising Microsoft Purview.
- Implementation of controls to support Identity and Access Management for privileged and unprivileged user accounts at IBA.
- Implementation.
- Implementation and ongoing support and maintenance of IBA’s vulnerability and patch management plan.
- Support IBA disaster recovery work, including development or RPO and RTO aligned with BCP.
- Develop and implement improved processes to update and maintain the CMDB in Service Now
- Develop documentation to support the role include procedures and handbooks.
- Support with design for infrastructure and networks as required.
- Act as the Incident Manager as required in the absence of the Service Delivery Manager.
- Assist to generate, track, and monitor key metrics to support IBA infrastructure and operations reporting.
- Administering Office 365 and innovating to create good outcomes for our employees.
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and execute software deployments and upgrades.
- As a level 3 technical escalation point in the absence of support from our MSP.

Working arrangements
On site support & Remote support Travel will be required on occasion.
You must be able to attend onsite at any of the offices at least 2 days per week (hybrid).
Security clearance
Must be able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
The Must Haves:
- 3+ years’ experience in a technical and cloud services.
- 3+ years working in Office 365, in an administrative capacity.
- Experience in MS Azure environment, leveraging PaaS and IaaS capabilities.
- Proven capabilities in support vulnerability and patch management processes.
- Proven capabilities in support asset discovery, and asset management in Microsoft azure environment.
- Proven capabilities in developing and implementing data loss prevention.
- Proven capabilities in developing Incident Response Procedures including a testing regime.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, but also a strong team player who works well with others.
- Able to pick up new concepts swiftly and hit the ground running, manage your time effectively and produce high quality outcomes efficiently.
- At least a baseline clearance (preferred), or the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance.
- Experience with service now, service management and governance risk and compliance module.
