AddressThe System Admin is responsible for complex activities and tasks relating to monitoring and maintenance of ICT servers and software. The System Administrator will conduct these activities whilst working cohesively and flexibly with related stakeholders to the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).

Other Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in the successful delivery of complex ICT outcomes across an Enterprise.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Exchange / Skype for Business along with its roles and features.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of ITIL processes and procedures is considered advantageous
Major Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor and maintain complex Microsoft technologies. Provide advanced skills in delivery of services to ICT platforms utilising Commonwealth approved designs.
- Manage, maintain and administer complex Microsoft Exchange and external email gateway environments.
- Manage, maintain and Administer Microsoft Skype for Business.
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts used for ad-hoc tasking and system automation.
- Develop, maintain and perform operational procedures and document changes to ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages.
Other Features of the Role (e.g. location, travelling, shift hours,)
- Role is Canberra based. There may be a requirement for occasional interstate travel.
- There will be a requirement to undertake occasional planned work outside the core hours, preferably during a maintenance window.
