About the Role
Our Product Team are at the forefront of bringing to life exciting and innovative new products. Supporting them is our line 1 Risk & Compliance team who partner with the Product team to ensure risks are identified and appropriately managed, compliance obligations are met and Product stakeholders understand their key business risks and regulatory obligations.
As Risk & Compliance Advisor – Product you’ll support and execute business risk controls and ensure that regulatory compliance obligations are met, business risks are mitigated, and customer experience is optimised. Specifically, you will:
Support risk governance through preparation of risk reporting, governance meetings, minutes and actions;
Undertake comprehensive risk assessments for new products and initiatives including assisting with the implementation of required controls;
Support in the annual and ongoing maintenance of the Risk Register for the Product team and also the completion of risk, regulatory and internal audit actions;
Review incidents which impact upon the Product team including undertaking root cause analysis, identifying control gaps, and undertaking post incident reviews;
Assist with compliance monitoring activities, identifying and developing controls to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations;
Support the Product team to understand Tabcorp’s key compliance obligations and the impact of any changes within the regulatory environment; and
Provide education and training as required on Tabcorp’s risk frameworks, policies and processes.
About You
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally come from a wagering or racing background within a risk management, internal audit, compliance, or consulting role. You’ll also possess:
relevant tertiary qualifications in a commercial, risk management or business-related field;
experience working in large, complex and highly regulated environments;
a methodical and systematic work approach with excellent time management;
well-developed problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making abilities; and
outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills which enable you to engage, influence and negotiate with a broad range of senior stakeholders.

Location
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
