As Risk Coordinatoryou will communicate risk policies and processes for our client’s program organisation. You will also provide hands-on development of risk models to support the project utilising Defence standard tools.

To succeed in this endeavour, you will be responsible for:

• Execution of the departmental objectives and plans to support the achievement of Program Targets
• Execution of reporting of status (at an agreed frequency) against department budget / targets.
• Actively take part in brainstorming and concept development sessions and contribute creative ideas
• Support the PD where needs to support invoices according to procedures
• Support the End to End delivery of all projects
• Execute the project prioritisation, and effective management and status reporting of projects

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:

• You must be eligible to attain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
• Relevant experience on Project work from concept to delivery
• Organisational and planning skills including advanced time management
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office based software
• Tertiary qualifications in discplines such as Bachelors degree of any discipline following subjects such as: Risk Management, Management or Business Studies, Finance or Economics, Statistics, or Engineering.
