The opportunity

We're all here to help deliver greater retirement outcomes for our members. The UniSuper Risk & Governance team does this by focusing on Capability, Culture, Control and Customer Satisfaction. Your role is the key support of the maintenance and uplift of our Governance, Risk and Compliance system (internally known as RADAR) and reporting capability.
Some of the key responsibilities are:

  • Production of regular management reporting from the Team Plan (MS Teams and Power BI) and RADAR including visualisation of performance data and dashboards
  • Production of risk reporting across all risk activities in UniSuper including data extraction, validation and assisting in data visualisation, including, coordinating, and collating inputs and sourcing relevant enterprise data
  • Conducting maintenance, managing user access, assist with onboarding new users and providing guidance
  • Trouble shooting and support of users, assisting with delivering on our automation and data roadmap
  • Assisting in RADAR register development and post implementation support of new developments

Besides, you will be in a position to produce and deliver regular reporting to key stakeholders, mainly:
  • Preparation of data and charts for relevant risk and compliance reporting for the executive, Board and Board committees.
  • Supporting the production of risk reporting across all risk activities in UniSuper, including data extraction, validation and coordinating, and collating inputs and sourcing relevant enterprise data
  • Business performance reporting and tracking from the Team Plan (MS Teams and Power BI) including visualisation of performance data and dashboards

One of the key aspects of the role is Risk Data monitoring and visualisation, which includes:
  • Building and production of data- visually, filtering and refining for reporting
  • Assist with regular Data Integrity reporting and validate outcomes, working with key stakeholders to complete any gaps
  • Provide high quality data visualization utilizing graphics and infographics, making complex Risk Data easy to understand and in a way that leads the reader to easily understand emerging risks and issues

About you

We are looking for an individual who has worked in fast moving transformation environment and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity. Besides, you will bring:

  • Knowledge of and prior experience GRC systems (such as Protecht/Archer), as well as PowerBI will be a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in analytics and data visualisation
  • Exposure to programming/coding experience and understanding of how to extract data and build reports and code would be highly regarded
  • Developing analytical and data visualization skills to assist in reporting
  • Problem solving skills - the ability to think outside the box with a desire to learn and improve
  • 2 to 3+ years' professional experience
  • Advanced Microsoft product knowledge (MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills paired with strong attention to detail
