- Manage the Enterprise Strategic Risk Register and monitor implementation of controls and treatments
- Ensure Risk Assessments are in place for each Business and each Business Services Function across GHD and manage on an ongoing basis
- Ensure Risk Register is updated and maintained, as well as any actions addressed
- Collaborate with Leadership Teams to integrate risk management into business operations
- Stay updated on industry regulations, develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management program that aligns with industry best practices and ensures GHD adheres to all requirements
- Work with our Learning Centre of Excellence to develop and implement training, and conduct regular audits, to ensure employees are relevantly educated with respect to GHDs approach around risk management. Facilitate workshops as/when required
- Implement automated processes for risk management using GHD's existing platform, SAI360, to manage and monitor risks, controls and treatments
- Maintain accurate risk management documentation
- Monthly reporting on risk management performance to the Chief Risk Officer
- Improve risk maturity through continuous improvement and robust reviews of Risk Register and framework
- Support the Chief Risk Officer with the development of a healthy risk culture within all business areas
- Tertiary qualified in Business or related fields ideally with a minimum of 10+ years' experience in a Risk management role gained from working within a global or international organisation
- Strong familiarity with the requirements of the Risk Management Standard practices
- Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels and able to build strong respectful relationships
- Highly engaging, collaborative and consultative approach with a sound comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and experience in risk management
- A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Experience with major infrastructure project risk management would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills coupled with sound judgement and decisiveness
