The Role
To assist the Risk Management team in creating and overseeing robust governance risk and compliance frameworks. Support business units in embedding and operating the frameworks, with a particular focus on overseeing Technology and Cyber. This role will also provide appropriate advice and support to Client and Technology staff to ensure client outcomes are being met in a compliant way and with minimal adverse impacts on the client and business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the wider Technology, Cyber and Operations Risk team to create robust governance risk and compliance frameworks.
- Challenge and oversee the implementation of the Operational Risk Management framework within Client & Technology, including issue and incident management, development of risk profiles and control remediation.
- Advising the Client & Technology business in relation to the operation of the framework for the collection, analysis, escalation and reporting of compliance incidents & breaches.
- Oversee the engagement of suppliers/vendors to ensure effective due diligence over their control environment, regular reporting as to control effectiveness and ensure relevant regulatory notifications are undertaken.
- Oversee the management of risk for Insignia Strategic programs and projects (delivered risk), including ensuring appropriate management of cloud migrations.
- Assist with overseeing compliance with all regulatory requirements for Technology.
- Help drive and maintain a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance, which is embedded across the business.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Undergraduate degree in Business/Commerce, Law or relevant subjects (mandatory)
- Ideal candidates will hold certifications in IT Risk management such as CISA, CRISC
- Proven experience in risk and compliance management roles in complex financial services organisations
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and associated risks
- Ideal candidates will have experience with technology vendor management and cloud migrations
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, and collaboration
- Ability to prepare well-articulated written documents
- Attention to detail
- Ability to drive behavioural and mindset changes with key stakeholders.
