Essential Criteria:
At a minimum, the successful candidate must possess:
- Bachelor of Nursing and registration with the Australian Health Professionals Registering Authority
- A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116*
- *Scholarship Opportunity available to complete TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Desirable Criteria:
- Post Graduate Nursing Qualification
- Experience delivering training in an RTO for the Diploma of Nursing
To meet the expansion of our Nursing courses, Key 2 Learning College requires the services of an experienced RN Trainer/Assessor to deliver vocational training to our Diploma of Nursing students. The successful applicant will:
- Work equally well as a team member and as a self-directed professional with a significant degree of autonomy
- Develop and deliver evidence-based, person-centered adult learning to a high standard
- Provide tutorial support to learners, as required
- Assess learner outcomes
- Coordinate work placements for students
- Manage the progression of each student through their enrolled course.
- Assess and record student competency in line with the requirements of the training package being assessed.
- Facilitate student progression.
- Ensure students have the correct information, support, knowledge and expectations of a course.
- Prepare, maintain, coordinate and evaluate teaching and learning resources.
- Undertaking administrative duties related to the program.
- Diagnosing and managing student learning difficulties.
- Undertaking professional development in relevant industry, vocational, educational or other contexts on a regular basis.
- Contributing to the achievement of the College's commercial targets.
