Corporate Services Manager position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This role will lead a broad team to manage finance administration, marketing and communications, office administration, and an outsourced IT function. Working in an environment that embraces innovation, inclusivity, fun, and flexibility, this position would be suited to someone actively looking to make a difference working in a community-focused organisation within the not-for-profit sector.Due to funding, all employees are engaged on a contract basis - with this position likely to be a 12 month contract with further long term extension.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational oversight to a highly effective Corporate Services Team
- Oversee the preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes, working in a hands on capacity as required
- Process end of month activities and preparation of management reports
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, as well as financial acquittal and statutory reporting processes
- Provide advice and support to senior managers, colleagues and team members in relation to all Corporate Services matters
- Contribute to quality, compliance and risk management initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement of Corporate Services
- Oversee office management and administration functions
Skills & Experience required
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting along with CA/CPA qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience with strong technical capabilities in financial and management accounting
- Ideally you will have proven abilities in project / change management processes and an interest in continuous improvement
- Innovative thinker, and someone who is adaptable and willing to learn from others
- Flexible mindset - working in a small non-profit environment, the ability to adapt to changing requirements will be essential to your success
- Full vaccination against COVID-19; and you will be required to obtain a satisfactory Police Check prior to commencing in this role
