AddressWe are urgently seeking a civil construction Labourer to work with construction and Pavement crew for local government start asap. This is a temporary assignment going till the end of September 2024.
Casual rate $39.98 per hour working Monday to Friday 6:15am – 3:15pm
Previous experience in civil construction is essential, together with:
- Experienced labourer able to operate and maintain machinery.
- Current Construction Industry White Card
- MR mandatory/HR licence desirable
- Appropriate hi-vis workwear attire.
- Willing to be Fit Tested
- Suitable level of physical fitness to perform this role. Available to work Monday to Friday 6:15am to 3:15pm for length of assignment.
- Two Current references
Duties include general labouring as part road and Pavement crew, safe MR truck operation in compliance with rules and regulations (if licenced) and ensuring adherence to safe work procedures (including correct use, maintenance and storage of personal protective equipment). Due to the nature of the work, we are also seeking evidence of Q-Fever vaccination (or you can be in the process of obtaining) and you will need to be Fit tested for P2 respirator for Silica dust PPE purposes working near ‘concrete dust’.
