As a Barclays Roadshow Coordinator, you will be a part of our Corporate Access Execution team, which is a part of wider Research department. In your new role, you will be focusing on a delivery of non-deal roadshows in a fast paced and high-volume area. You will have an opportunity to work on a various project in terms of a size and scope of requirements with a high standard of service and execution being the common denominator.

What will you be doing?
• Liaising and communicating with external client (company management teams), internal Sales, Research and Assistants to coordinate roadshow schedules, facilitate 1:1 meeting
• Contracting and negotiating for all roadshows: virtual vendors, hotel space for group functions, book overnight accommodations, ground transportation, commercial air travel etc
• Working as part of a planning team to allocate 1:1 and group meetings for participating corporates and investors at a conference
• Being responsible for budget resolution, invoice processing & post-event closedown - in a timely and proficient manner
• Providing venue and supplier selection & developing vendor relationships; negotiating contracts to obtain the best pricing for our clients
• Attending meetings on-site and managing as required, primarily at group meetings in London
• Partnering with Roadshow Manager to improve processes and provide better quality service to internal & external clients
What we're looking for:
• Previous roadshow experience is essential
• Proficiency in event technology software, along with virtual technology offerings
• Ability to remain calm and accurate under pressure with a balanced thought process
• Exceptional verbal and written communication needed along with a good attention to detail
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in working with Microsoft Excel with basic handling of spreadsheets
• Background understanding of the Equities business and the value of clean data
