About the Role
The Delivery lead will coordinate the optimal use of available maintenance funds for the road network by employing corporate asset management strategies and systems. Responsibilities will include analysing and prioritising maintenance needs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to extend the lifespan and performance of road assets. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to align maintenance efforts with organisational goals and regulatory standards, ensuring the road network remains safe, reliable, and cost-effective.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities
- Apply well developed specialist and managerial skills to coordinate the optimal use of available maintenance funds on the road network using corporate asset management strategies and systems.
- Lead the development and delivery of maintenance bids for the arterial road network in accordance with corporate guidelines and timeframes.
- Lead research and analysis activities on best practice asset management treatments, practices and procurements methods and make recommendations on applicability for managing DoT assets.
- Provide expert advise to key senior stakeholders to influence decisions across the Operations division which minimise the asset management obligations across the State and maximise the outcomes achieved from investments in asset management.
- Provide expert advice from an operational perspective to the Strategy and Planning Divisions which impact upon decisions making regarding the organisational asset management strategies and policies.
- To act as a proactive member of the Maintenance Delivery team, ensuring the team are highly motivated, proactive and forward thinking so outcomes and opportunities are maximised and achieved.
Key Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will lead diverse programming situations, including detailed monitoring and analysis of program activities. They will develop and deliver solutions for complex issues, using specialist skills to introduce new measures for monitoring asset performance. They will address complex customer problems where guidelines are lacking and apply advanced problem-solving skills to develop and implement quality systems and procedures. Additionally, they will use their managerial skills to understand employee motivations and adapt their leadership style to achieve desired outcomes
