We are seeking a skilled Pad Foot and Smooth Drum Roller Operator to join our construction team for ongoing civil projects. As an operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely maneuvering pad foot and smooth drum rollers to compact various construction materials such as soil, gravel, and asphalt.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate pad foot and smooth drum rollers to achieve proper compaction of surfaces.
2. Work in collaboration with the construction team to ensure project timelines are met.
3. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
6. Monitor machine functionality and report any issues promptly.
7. Adhere to project specifications for compaction requirements.
8. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Pad Foot and Smooth Drum Roller Operator in civil construction projects.
2. Valid RIIMPO317F Conduct roller operations licence
3. Strong understanding of compaction techniques and equipment.
4. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
5. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
6. Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
7. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
8. Must pass a medical including drug and alcohol checks
9. S11 required
10. Coal board Medical within the last 5 years or ability to pass test
