Responsibilities:
- Install and repair roofing systems according to project specifications and industry standards
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific roof dimensions
- Ensure proper installation of flashing, and other roofing accessories
- Perform inspections to identify roofing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Work safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a roofer, with a focus on metal roofing preferred
- Knowledge of metal roofing materials, tools, and installation techniques
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
We are looking for applicants who are not only skilled but also adaptable. You should be able to work in hot and humid environments, demonstrating your commitment to the job and your ability to handle challenging conditions.
Annual remuneration: between $70,000 & $80,000 + superannuation.
