We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Metal Roofing Estimator to join our team!

This Commercial Metal Roofing Estimator role is based in Caloundra West. You will enjoy a positive, dynamic, fast paced, and supportive workplace. There will be a ‘longevity incentive available after 12 months for the successful applicant’.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Metal Roofing Estimator who has construction experience. Remuneration is attractive and negotiable and will be based on experience and knowledge.
Duties will include but not limited to:- Estimating multiple large commercial job costings at any one time
- Reviewing tender documents
- Submitting tenders inside deadlines
- Managing tender enquiries
- Liaising with suppliers and build relationships
- Liaising with builders, Operations/Project Managers and Contract Administrators both in house and external as well as other stakeholders
- Manage variations as required
- Pre-contract electronic file preparation in line with current procedures
- Review and check contracts, assess scope of works and confirmation of contract ready for signing
- Post-contract variation and query management
- Metal roofing and cladding estimating experience
- High level ability to read commercial and industrial plans and interpret for providing accurate roofing and or cladding estimate
- A strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Expansive knowledge of the roofing industry
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box for a solution
- Professional attitude and communication skills
- Strong initiative
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Effective time management
- A sound and comprehensive knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
