Ovolo Woolloomooloo is the brand's flagship Australian hotel, located in Sydney's idyllic harbourside suburb of... (dramatic drum roll) Woolloomooloo. Nestled in the heart of the popular wharf precinct, a short walk to the city's central business district, the hotel is surrounded by a wide selection of much-loved dining and nightlife options. Ovolo Woolloomooloo features 100 guest rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, meeting rooms and events spaces, a swimming pool, and Alibi Bar & Kitchen (100% plant-based).
The Gig
Ovolo Hotels is on the hunt for our next Room Attendant/Houseperson to come join our F.U.N team. You will be a professional member of the housekeeping team providing the highest level of service which meets and exceeds expectations. You will contribute to the housekeeping operation by cleaning bedrooms, public areas, hotel exterior, back of house areas and other designated areas. This is a Part-Time role and will require flexibility within your availability. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the day to day operational running of the housekeeping department
- Ensure rooms are serviced and cleaned with efficiency and in line with company standards, including quality and time frames
- Deliver the highest levels of guest service so that guests are greeted warmly
- Assist in maintaining par stock levels for all equipment and materials, including linen, stationary, cleaning products, guest amenities and equipment by reporting shortages
- Use safe manual handling and chemical handling techniques at all times and ensure all WHS practices and Ovolo procedures are followed
- Participate in training and development programmes as scheduled by management, and actively implement what is trained into the working environment
About you

To be successful for this role, you will have 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to carry out allocated tasks as well as great organizational skills. You will also bring a fun and positive energy to the team with basic knowledge on cleaning services.
