About the role
PAC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Roster & Administration Officer who will be responsible for rostering staff and providing day to day administrative support at our Residential Facility (Ashfield).
The primary focus of this role is to support the daily operations of the facility including rostering, orientations and training, recruitment processes, and compliance. The successful applicant will be driven and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills. This role can be very busy at times so patience and calm manner are essential to the role as much as skill base.
Work relationships are also essential part of this role to aid with the rostering process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Rostering of Staff within the Facility and replacement of Staff as required
- Medical Stores ordering for all areas of the Facility
- Ordering of Incontinence Aids
- Ensuring that Purchase Orders are raised for all items ordered
- Booking and advising Staff of Education and Training (both Mandatory and Voluntary training)
- Attendance Sheets for training to be maintained and entered into the electronic records system
- Police Check and Visa Check monitoring and notification to Staff
- Maintenance of RN/EN Registration and upload to electronic records system
- Payroll Queries
- Annual Leave Forms to be reviewed and details forwarded to the Facility Manager
- Student Work Placements
- General Administration Duties as required including Reception relief during ADHOC periods of the day
About You
By nature you are compassionate and have a commitment for improving the lives of others. You have relevant qualifications and or previous experience working as an Administration Officer in an aged care environment. Essential selection criteria also includes:
- Experience in scheduling of rosters and ordering medical stores
- Experience with Humanforce highly regarded
- Experience in generalist administration in an aged care environment.
- Good Computer Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Exceptional administrative and documentation skills.
- High level or organisation skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Patient and calm in busy situations
