Overview
The Roster Clerk maintains the day-to-day rostering and scheduling of all nursing staff. This includes, but is not limited to, the backfill of any Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) deficits that arise out of the monthly nursing rosters, under the guidance of the Nurse Managers. The Roster Clerk arranges backfill of any unplanned leave such as sick leave, bereavement leave, etc. Under the direction of the Nurse Managers or After-Hours Duty Coordinators the Roster Clerk maintains continuity of nursing services in all patient areas by arranging/redeployment of appropriately qualified staff to identified areas of need. The Roster Clerk undertakes the updating of the computer database ProAct by entering any adjustments that he/she has made to the nursing rosters. As a team member, the Roster Clerk assists his/her colleagues in the office area by answering phone and providing other administrative assistance as required.
One permanent part time vacancy available working 45 hours per fortnight; and one part time temporary vacancy available working 30 hours per fortnight, up to 30/6/2024. This is a part time vacancy and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
