Thrive Disability Services (TDS) is the NDIS/Disabilities services arm of TCS, and is well established in Tasmania and QLD.
The Rostering Coordinator role is a critical role and the backbone of TDS's operations and service delivery.
Based at the head office in Launceston the suitable candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting rosters for all TDS's NDIS participants
- Working with Team Leaders and Engagement Officers in understanding the customers needs and preferences to best match and roster suitable staff on for shifts.
- Ensuring that staff rostering is aligned to and compliant with the SCHADS Award and Fair Work guidelines
Skills Required:
Proven experience with business operations, rostering and frontline logistical experience is an advantage
• Ability to problem solve and think on your feet, to cover shifts at last minute cancellations
• Excellent communication
• Excellent analytical skills, proficient in MS office, understanding of SCHADS award and Fair Work
• Excellent influencer and negotiator to work with support workers in accepting shifts, and participants in accepting change if the gap fill worker is new to them.
• A proactive out of the box thinker and being a team player is critical
The role is Full Time Permanent (Mon- Fri 9.00am till 5.00pm)
