About the role There are exciting opportunities for staff to join our passionate and engaged team as Rostering and Onboarding Officers at our Jandakot Lab. The Rostering and Onboarding Officers will be reporting to the Collections Business Partner. The Rostering and Onboarding Officers are primarily responsible for creating accurate and efficient rosters for all Collectors and filling planned and unplanned vacancies across the Collector Network in a timely and appropriate manner. This is achieved through utilisation of a computerised rostering system. Your responsibilities will include: Ensure rosters within designated area are available at least four (4) weeks in advance of the current date. Create and maintain staff profiles in Workforce Dimensions and ensure they accurately reflect position, hours, award, area, and shift. Ensure timely and accurate data entry on WFD of any changes to shifts. Ensure all updates or changes to rosters due to personal leave, shift swap requests or other unforeseen requirements are actioned in WFD. Monitor casual employee: availability recorded, numbers of declined shifts and variability of areas/shifts worked. Ensure Reliever Collectors are utilised to the full extent of their contracted hours within the most efficient radius of their nominated hub. Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate management of vacancies within Collections. Provide support to the Collection Coordinators (CCs) in identifying and recruiting Collection talent. Provide support to the CCs & Collections Business Partner (CBP) in recruitment of team members via facilitation of document collation & compliance perusal. Assist the CBP in the delivery of the National Technical Training Framework (NTTF). Assist the CCs in the scheduling of the training of new team members including collection coach pairings. Liaise with Commercial Team, and CCs as soon as possible if vacancies cannot be filled or only partially filled. About you: To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including: Relevant experience with electronic rostering systems, Kronos Work Force Dimensions ideal Sound knowledge and experience in health industry Strong communication skills, ability to adapt communication style based on the needs of the audience. Proven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes. Working knowledge of and the ability to apply EA conditions when shift rostering. ..
