The Program Coordinator, Research Infrastructure is a 12-month role focused on identifying key requirements and opportunities related to Research Infrastructure within the context of implementing the Estate Master Plan. The scope includes exploration of areas such as small animals, large animals, plant growth infrastructure, and equipment-based resources. The objective is to establish and document agreed principles for capital planning activities through extensive stakeholder engagement to develop a Research Infrastructure Estate enabling plan. Join our supportive, open, and collaborative Research Infrastructure team to contribute to a future-oriented, needs-based perspective on key activities and requirements spanning the University's physical footprint.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the development of the Research Infrastructure Estate Enabling Plan for a number of broad categories of Research Infrastructure including small animals, large animals, plant growth infrastructure; equipment-based resourcesConducing analysis on needs/requirements, risks and opportunities across the Research Infrastructure categoriesLeading development and implementation of Research infrastructure Enabling plan to support the implementation of master planning and Estate Plan requirementsManaging various enquiries relating to Research infrastructure and providing advice and support as necessaryEstablishment of a Reference Group comprising key academic and profession staff members to across stakeholder divisions.Who we are looking for
You will possess strong organisational and planning skills including the ability to prioritise workload and plan and deliver multiple project activities concurrently. Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and a high level of analytical skills including the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex datasets.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, shows initiative and has the ability to work independently and effectively with diverse stakeholder groups to achieve organisational goals and targetsYou will also have:A relevant degree in a technical discipline such as Science, Engineering, or Business with experience and or combination of experience and education/trainingDemonstrated project management capability to deliver a clear program of work, clear deliverables, and work to necessary timelines.Knowledge of Research infrastructure facilities for small animals, large animals, plant growth infrastructure; and/or equipment-based resources (highly desirable)For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements please refer to the attached PD.This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
