About the Role:
Reporting to the RTO Manager this role requires a meticulous individual with a strong background in compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with ASQA and VET standards related to training, maintaining quality control in training programs, your expertise in managing systems and procedures within an RTO environment, along with maintaining a Learning Management System, will be vital in upholding the organisation's commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and guidelines, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Enrolment Coordination: Oversee the processing of student enrolments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Implement and manage document control procedures related to student records.
- Training Materials Development: Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop and update training materials to ensure all materials comply with ASQA and VET standards.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures for training programs to uphold high standards, conduct regular reviews and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Learning Management System (LMS): Manage and maintain the Leaning Management System, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, provide training to staff on the effective use of the LMS.
- Qualifications and Packaging Rules: Apply and oversee packaging rules for qualifications, units of competency, and qualification pathways. Provide guidance on qualification structures and compliance requirements.
- Staff Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on compliance-related matters and foster a culture of awareness and commitment to compliance within the organisation.
- To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an RTO and hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116.
- A strong understanding and application of packaging rules for qualifications, units of competency, and qualification pathways, coupled with knowledge of VET sector compliance and operational ASQA guidelines, are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training-related software, preferably aXcelerate, is a must.
