Edutemps has collaborated with a small not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that specialises in training within the health and community services sector. They have been operating for around 60 years and have a history of reliability, experience and highly qualified health personnel on the team.
The Role
As a Nursing & Individual Support Coordinator, you play a critical role in providing student & administration support associated with the functioning and daily operations of training delivery and assessment with an emphasis on student engagement, academic progress, industry engagement and compliance.
The organisation is offering a permanent part-time (0.7FTE) opportunity.
(Monday- Wednesday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, & every second Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
This role is located in Hawthorn East, Victoria. Free parking on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, update and maintain Training and Assessment Strategies, timetables and training plans for all responsible courses and intakes
- Monitor student attendance weekly to ensure students are engaged in the course
- Monitor student progress and submit monthly report to the senior quality assurance officer
- Follow up disengaged students and document all communications
- Book trainers and assessors
- Review timetable to ensure allocations are accurate and trainers are booked
- Communicate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and team members in a timely manner
- Maintain quality and compliance in line with ASQA & ANMAC requirements
The Successful Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher qualification
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Cert IV Training and Assessment TAE40116 or equivalent
- Vocational Education or other student experience
- Sound knowledge of quality and compliance
- Experience using a Student Management System (aXcelerate)
- Experience using a LMS (such as Moodle)
- Health sector coordinator experience (preferred)
- Current Police Check & WWCC
- Proof of COVID vaccination
