Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives and programs.
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the HSW management system and initiatives to enhance HSW performance.
- Perform investigations, review key risks, and coach management, staff, and contractors to minimize HSW risks.
- Contribute to HSW monthly, quarterly, and annual reports through data analytics and storytelling.
- Apply HSW knowledge to identify trends and implement initiatives to reduce and prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Develop and promote health, safety, and wellbeing communications and initiatives, including alerts and guides on key risks and issues.
- Demonstrated experience in hazard identification, risk assessments, incident response, and investigation activities.
- Excellent working knowledge of Victorian OHS and Workplace Injury, Rehabilitation and Compensation (WIRC) legislation.
- Strong analytical and project management skills for both partnering activities and supporting strategic project implementation.
- Ability to analyse data sets and provide insights to management for health, safety, and wellbeing performance reviews.
- Good collaboration skills with a customer focus to ensure HSW standards and programs align with the HSW strategy.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety and wellbeing risk assessments, managing safety and wellbeing incidents and injuries, conducting investigations and audits, and working with management teams to improve HSW business performance.
- Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety, Risk Management, Human Resources, or Law.
