The Position
As Safety Advisor, operating under the guidance of the Operations Manager, you will actively collaborate with key stakeholders invested in the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects of the project.
Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating health and safety systems within the project, including identifying hazards, assessing risks to health and safety, and recommending appropriate safety controls to the construction team. Moreover, you will provide valuable advice on incident prevention and occupational health to both management and employees.
As part of this dynamic role, you will also be responsible for facilitating weekly toolbox talks, fostering a culture of safety awareness and knowledge sharing. Additionally, you will conduct pre-start breath tests to ensure the fitness of all workers for their tasks.

- Minimum Cert IV in Work Health & Safety
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of relevant WH&S legislation.
- Relevant construction/mining industry experience in Safety roles
- Current Drug & Alcohol Screening/Testing Qualification
