Our team of industry professionals operate a 360-degree approach to on site risk management encompassing Injury Prevention, Incident Response and Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
We are looking to engage an experienced Safety Advisor to work Monday to Friday with one of our key clients in Perth CBD/Metro area. Previous experience is essential in overseeing the fit out of a high-rise office building.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing health and safety framework within your portfolio
- Be the focal point for stakeholders for advice on meeting their obligations and deliverables for health and safety across your portfolio
- Provide functional and technical advice to employees, contractors, and other parties
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure health and safety requirements are implemented
- Lead the oversight and management of safety activities in your portfolio to ensure Health and Safety Strategy is implemented, and KPI's are achieved
- Provide strategic advice to stakeholders
- Monthly reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international, national, and local health and safety regulations and standards
To be eligible for these roles you will require the following experience/qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- High rise fit out experience is essential
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a health and safety position
- Adept knowledge of health and safety regulations, legal compliance, and risk management practices
- Ability to problem solve and make practical decisions in a high stress environment.
- Have an analytical mindset
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple portfolios and manage conflicting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have solid computer skills
