What’s on offer?We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated
Safety Coordinator to join our Sydney Airport SESAD project team. Working closely with Sydney Airport this project comprises development of six aircraft parking bays. Scope of works will also include the extension and widening of existing taxiways to make it easier to access the new parking aprons. This multi-million project will provide essential infrastructure to Sydney Airport with expected growth in passengers.Working closely with the safety and project team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing safety aspects in relation to traffic management, risk management and hazardous materials. You will take a proactive role in identifying hazards and risks on site and advise on appropriate actions. Part of your role will also include conducting safety assessments and internal audits to assess safety performance and opportunities for improvement. You will work with the team to ensure that we are working in a safe manner and delivering a successful project.To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in the construction industry with relevant qualification. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to build rapport quickly with our internal and external stakeholders. You will have an ability to work in a fast pace environment ensuring that we are working in a safe manner.
