Address Responsibilities
As a suitable applicant you will have 3+ years of experience safety coordinating in construction or a similar industry. The Safety Coordinator position is with a reputable asphalt and road construction company, based in Newcastle. Ideally the right candidate, will have excellent communication skills, great stakeholder management, be a team player and be able to implement and influence the safety culture in a positive way.
Duties include:
Ensure sites are compliant and to a high safety standard
Coordinate all Health & Safety strategies & initiatives
Maintaining all OH&S documentation and reports
Risk Prevention and Management
Improve and Maintain Safety Culture
Requirements
3+ years of safety coordinating in construction or a similar industry
A cert 4 or Diploma in OH&S
An up-to-date understanding of WHS legislation.
Open to travel and night shifts
